Lecture Recitals

You love music, and concerts, but why not learn something about the works performed instead of just listening? Lecture Recitals are a great way to complement performances while listening to great music. Pairing facts, history, and great stories to music is one of the most ideal and fun performance opportunities humans can experience. Find out about the nitty gritty of the why, how, when and why not of music you have heard for years but may not know facts that can totally change your experience. Our audiences have a lot of fun en these events. For bookings, email us at lcpclassical@gmail.com

Side by Side Rehearsals & Performances

Young musicians do not need to wait to play with professional musicians until they graduate college. Our program offers local groups, orchestras, chamber groups, church groups and bands the opportunity to play side by side with local professional musicians. Private and public institutions can participate in this inspiring experience that foments and accelerates musical and intellectual growth by 90%. Call or write us at lcpclassical@gmail.com for an application and program protocol.

Instrument Petting Zoo

Lakeside Chamber Players partner with local instrument providers to bring an opportunity of a lifetime to our community…an Instrument Petting Zoo where children get to try REAL instruments, not toys. They get to try as many instruments as they want, with the suppervision and guidance of a professional musician. It is not a coincidence that children who participate in this type of opportunities tend to gravitate towards picking and instrument and decide they want to learn to play it. If you have interest in bringing our Petting Zoo to your community event, let us know. Involved arrangements need to be made in order to properly care for and transport the instruments. Reservations can be made by emailing us your event’s date and time at lcpclassical@gmail.com

Private and Group Lessons

We provide our community with access to professional musicians for lessons, performances and master classes. All of our musicians are graduate professionals with vast performance and teaching experience in their specialty instruments. Many are graduate from conservatories of music, Ivy League music schools and also members of our local symphony orchestras and professional performing groups. Private lessons for strings, piano, winds, percussion and brass instruments are offered.

Master Classes

Students have the opportunity to participate in Master Classes with local professional musicians. Bands, music groups, orchestras and chamber groups can benefit greatly from this unique opportunity most commonly offered in college environments at the undergraduate level. Studies show that master classes improve young musician’s appreciation and level of performance by 50% in just one session. Call us to schedule a Master Class for your students. We offer Master Classes on every instrument.
